Printed in ASA, and painted in a textured satin black, these OEM replacement defroster vents have no compromise. They are an OEM replica with only minor changes to the clips, but significantly stronger and more resistant to the high temperatures of the dash environment.

Because FC RX7s are well over 30 years old, and many owners store their cars in various conditions, I have left the clips to be slightly oversized so that they can secure the vents even on dashes that have become warped while still fitting in dashes that may have lived in more moderate conditions.

While these vents are extremely durable, the clips are still designed to break before any damage to the dash occurs during removal or installation, and they must be installed/removed with care. Install one side and use a nonmetallic scraper to press the other side into the dash. It may be advisable on a tight dash to remove some clip material if you meet significant resistance on installation.
